Reactions

Rick DiBiase (head coach of Italy): It was first win in this tournament,we work really hard. Nice to see how we got a win, specially with a shotout. I’m proud of my girls, they played excellent. We took chances today, which we didn’t last games.

Carl Wood (head coach of Great Britain): I think the girls had high expectations for this game. They were very ready to play, struggled with some situations on the floor, just being able to have control of the ball. But they stayed focused and hungry to play. I think it’s a little disappointment right now, but tomorrow they will be ready to come back, step it up a little bit more and show them we’ve got more to play.
