In a rematch of yesterday´s game, which Lebanon won 6-1, stayed scoreless until Bermuda opened the scoring late in the first period. However, they still had a four-goal deficit to overcome. When Lebanon scored three goals in a row in the third period, they essentially put it away. They won the game 3-2, and 9-3 on aggregate, to claim 17th place.

Reactions

Fadl Nasser, Anthony El Haddad (forwards, Lebanon): We started really slow. I think it was really hard game. But these guys came to win. We woke up between second and third period. The coach had a speech at the break, so we caught up and we went throw the victory. We scored three goals at third period.

Christopher Coleman (captain of Bermudes): We are really disappointed. Before the tournament we had much higher expactation for results. We had good start of the championship with two wins in first two games. Even in the third we played not enough well to win and other matches we lost due to not scoring goals. I give a lot of credit to Lebanon, they played great games last few matches and deserves the wins. Now we only look for coming back in two years time and hopefully, we will be better team.
