Reactions

Jari Väänänen (head coach, Team Finland): Our main target before the game was staying in the A-pool. The game was really hard, also tough and the French played really well. I´m comfortable with our performance in this game, but during the whole tournament we did not play so well. We will need to practice more for the next championship, because our result in Pardubice is a bit disappointing - our goal was to place in the top six.

Maxime St-Michel (head coach, Team France): We’re from the B pool and we’re still ready to play against really good teams. They are fast and my players were probably a bit tired from this week. We started really well in the beginning of this tournament, but now we have some injuries. Seven players were injured before this game and a lot of them played with some bruises. Our goalie Louis Laferte had a great game.
