Reactions

Yeghia Der Ohanessian, forward of Team Armenia: It is special. It is my first win at this level with this team, so it is very special. [When we were 3-0 ahead] we started playing on our heels a little bit and lost our focus for a second. We saw the victory a little bit too soon so we had to regroup and we have a big win now. Our goalie made some great saves. With the penalty shot, I practice that a lot and usually I go into forehand, but this time I decided to go with backhand and as it hit the post, I could not hold the emotions anymore. Usually I do not celebrate the penalty shot goal as much. I just let it all out, it was fun today.

Lokki Kwan, captain of Team Hong Kong: It was a hard game for sure. We didn’t want to send the game to penalties. We knew how to go ahead but we didn’t change our game. Fortunately, we ran a lot and we were starting to dominate, but it was already too late.
