Armenia fell just one goal short again in its second game at the Worlds. Haiti took the lead early with a strike from Rubens Morne and held onto it for the whole game. Lincy Registe-Augustin recorded the shutout. With now six points after two games, Haiti will finish first place in Group B2.

Reactions

Jean-Francois Aumais, goalie of Armenia: I think it was an awesome game on our part. We had a lot of trouble against these guys last year, so this is a big improvement and we are happy for it. My performance does not mean much, but I am really happy that we played well as a team. We need to score more than that to win games. We are looking forward to the next game coming up.

Midwin Dorismond, assistant coach of Haiti: We are satisfied with our performance in the way that defence played well and the goalie played well. But offensively, there is a little bit work to do. We have to give it to guys on the other side. They never stopped, they worked hard and they gave us a good game.
