Swiss erase early 3-goal deficit, beat Portugal 5-3

Trailing 3-0 early, Switzerland came back to score five straight goals to beat Portugal 5-3 in Group A2 action. Matthew David scored twice for Portugal, who beat Stephan Sidler three times in the first eight minutes. The Swiss keeper was perfect the rest of the way, however. Lukas Staheli got the comeback started in the dying seconds of the first period, and five different players scored for Switzerland, with Yanick Muller and Ives Stucki getting two points each.

Mario Paulik, Swiss forward:In first period, we were making a lot of mistakes, we did not play well in one on one situations. But we were able to turn over the game from 0-3 to 4-3 in 15 minutes. It is the prove that this team is very strong and never give up.
