5. 6. 2017 | Petr Sumbal

In second period, Peter Karvouniaris scored his second goal of the game and Finland still couldn´t find an answer. After a goalless third period, the final score was 4-0 for Greece. After their third loss, Finland stays at the bottom of Group A1, while Greece moves up to third place.

Reactions

Coach of team Finland): We started the game quite badly. We didn’t score any goals because Greece, as well as the other teams in this tournament, are better prepared for the games. Some of our players met on the rink in Pardubice for the first time and I think that is the main problem. We have to prepare more often and more properly.

George Vouloumanos (head coach, Team Greece): We were following our game plan, playing very disciplined. We used our speed and skills to beat a very good Finnish team. When we had opportunities, we were able to score goals.
