USA edges Czechs in wild shootout win

Before a large crowd of 5,863, the Czech Republic and USA played a wild game that was full of emotion and controversy, with a couple of disputed goals that the Czechs and their home fans felt cost them the game. Nonetheless, it went to a shootout and Cody Warila scored the only goal to give the extra point to the Americans. Twice the Czechs took the lead and twice the Americans tied it, and goaltenders Lukas Heczko and Jonathan Rethage - both under pressure all game - were chosen as best players of their respective teams.
